Bwwwhat?

For a year or so now, I've really been wanting a Pennywell mini pig to call my own.
Today, however, I became interested in the pygmy jerboa.
It seems like an imaginary animal to me. A rat bird of sorts.

Love Story vs. Viva la Vida...works?

Just saw this on the rockstar diaries and loved it.

Turns out, this guy's amazing.

Can't waaait until our roadtrip tomorrow to see Hillsong on Saturday in Nashville with the girls!!!

Say Yes to the Dress

I am watching Say Yes to the Dress with my sister.

I love weddings.
I love wedding dresses.
I love this show.

For once in my life,

my fave boy wins American Idol!

Kris Allen, I love you. You and your wife are adorable, but I'm slightly sad that you're married. I screamed at the top of my lungs when you won, and then my friends and I bonded and drooled over you while watching your past performances online.

I hope American Idol never ends.

My glasses are fixed!

I am wearing them right now. The eye doctor worked them back into place in seriously like two minutes on Friday morning. I was elated.

Last night I hung out with these fun girls.

Kristina used her hair-doing abilities to put bumps in our hair, but I don't know whether or not you can tell that in these pictures.

I started my job at the daycare Thursday, and I have a newfound appreciation for parents of small children. Kids are super cute but ridiculously exhausting.

I'm seriously looking forward to Brooke's brother's wedding this weekend! I can't wait to hear my own brother's best man speech and to wear my new dress from Express and to dance with my girlies! I will be posting pictures!

Aaaaaah, American Idol is starting! Go Kris! Go Kris! Go Kris! Off I go to watch Kris be amazing!

I was terribly disappointed this morning

when I accidentally stepped on/mangled my still-new-in-my-mind Kate Spade glasses.

Yes, those ones.

So now I'm back to wearing these old glasses from the 7th grade, and I feel significantly less cute. (These pictures are also a testament to the wonder of no-glare lenses, which my new ones have and my old don't.)

My mom and I are headed to the glasses store tomorrow to see if they can fix them or if we have to purchase a whole new pair.

If they fix them, I'll fear that they're more delicate and breakable after being bent and rebent.

And whether they fix them or I get a new pair, I'll forever fear that I will yet again break them and yet again feel that horrible sinking realization in my stomach when I hear them crack beneath my shoe.

On a not-at-all lighter note, this has also invoked my rage again against the doctor who thought a certain drug would help my legs and felt no need to tell me that one of the side effects is that "The eye tissue may become dry causing higher sensitivity and decreasing [contact] wearing time. The cornea may retain fluid and change shape, which may cause fitting, feeling and visual problems."

Um, good job, doc. The medicine helped not at all, and now I can't wear contacts. Thing #764 that my legs have messed up.

I have been slacking...

when it comes to blogging.

This weekend Lindsay and I drove to Western to see Brooke and Kristina.
We got to hear this guy, Brooks Ritter, in a little mini-concert.
He's brilliant. His voice is amaaazing.

I also found out that the four of us will be seeing Hillsong in Nashville on the 30th!
So excited to have that to look forward to.

I saw 17 Again...again last night with Emily and Lindsay. SO GOOD.
I'm significantly less in love with Zac Efron after seeing a photo from a much-talked-about shoot in which he posed with a chica sin ropas. Tacky.

I wasn't planning to blog about the show on the TV right now, I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant, but my sister just said, "Man, the worst thing ever would be to have a surprise baby while you were camping," and I thought that I needed to share it and to publicly state that I agree.

Off to Emily's to watch American Idol I go!
Please Kris, please, stay on the show!

It's my birthday!

I am twenty. How weird! Twenty years old.
Somehow I thought I would feel older than this by the time I got to be twenty.

I really want to see this movie! I love Alexis Bledel.

I. don't. want. to. study. for. finals. on. my. birthday.
One more final, then summer!

Dear Zac Efron,

I kind of love you.

I had no idea how much I would LOVE 17 Again
when I saw it with the girlies this weekend, but it was awesome.

Zac, you are so pretty.

Also, PostSecret of the week.

I'm am SO READY for finals to be over. I've got two today and can't even relax when they're over because I've got to study for more, so I can totally relate to this sentiment.
